This may surprise you but when I opened Millport I never set out to cook y’all eggs. Our cafe has really taken off, don’t get me wrong, but my passion is in a slightly more elevated dining experience. Dinner is where I come alive.
I have spent these winter months coming up with an idea that I could implement without staff and where you could be more involved. What is nobody else doing?
This summer, in the spirit of my late friend Susan and aligned with our mission to bring people together around a table, join me on Saturday nights from 6-9pm with something new, edgy and interactive.

Dear Susan,
Each night before we open the doors we toast to you. To our many nights over cocktails, joking about me quitting my day job. To you pushing me to cook professionally. To your adventurous life and your untimely death that both inspired me to chase this dream. Cheers to you, my dearest friend. Wherever you are, wherever we go after this, raise your glass and know that this is for you. You will live on in my kitchen and in my heart always. Thank you for believing in me.
